All About CTET



TET was started by the Government of India in order to improve standards in teaching. It was held for the first time in 2011
CTET abbreviation for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by CBSE - Central Board of Secondary Education. It is important for all aspiring teachers who wish to join as teacher in Central Government Schools like KVS/ NVS/ Tibetan School etc.
an Indian entrance examination for teachers. This test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. 

It is divided into two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. 

Paper 1 is for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. 

It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET. The test is conducted in order to achieve the goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. The nation’s growth depend on the student's education level and moral values. And the best teacher provides the greatest education of our student.
States who do not wish to conduct State TET (State Teacher Eligibility Test) may consider the CTET score for recruitment of teachers.

This CTET Entrance Exam is organised on twice a year generally in the month of February and September. A candidate has to score minimum 60 per cent to clear the eligibility test of CTET exam.

  1. UPTET 2018 exam schedule has been released by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPTET is a state-level test, conducted by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) for recruitment of Primary and Upper Primary Level teachers in various schools of Uttar Pradesh. The UPTET Admit Card for the exam will be uploaded on the official website on October 18. The exam has been scheduled on November 4 in two sessions.
